Development Director
The Development Director serves as the lead fundraiser for Paramount Center for the Arts, overseeing all aspects of contributed revenue, including individual giving, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, donor events, and stewardship activities. This role drives the organization’s philanthropic strategy and ensures a healthy donor pipeline by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with donors, foundations, sponsors, board members, and community partners. The position also manages grant proposal development and submission, supports foundation relations, and ensures accurate tracking of donor activity and financial reporting within the organization’s CRM system.
In addition, the Development Director leads the Development Committee and supports fundraising and donor-focused events that advance the mission of Paramount Center for the Arts. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and regular computer use, along with occasional evening and weekend hours for donor events or performances. With responsibility for achieving annual contributed-revenue goals, this position is essential to strengthening the organization’s long-term sustainability and community impact.
This is a full-time exempt position (32 hours per week). Employee to work in the office, Monday-Friday, with a schedule TBD between the hours of 9am – 5pm, and the option to work remotely up to 6.5 hours each week. Occasional nights and weekends required for donor-related events. Employee required to be on-site for some regular meetings. Benefits include paid vacation, starting at 10 days annually, 9 paid holidays, accruable personal time (PTO), free parking, option to join 401(k) retirement plan after one year of employment, and complimentary tickets/registration to select Paramount events. Annual salary range of $55,000-$62,000, commensurate with knowledge, experience, and work history.
Paramount Center for the Arts, located in downtown St. Cloud, MN, works to engage, educate, enrich, and entertain through inspiring arts experiences.
