This role is designed as a Customer Service Representative — Sales Hybrid, blending service excellence with growth opportunities in sales. You’ll start with service responsibilities and grow into sales within the first year, with a clear career path to higher earning potential.

What We Offer

Compensation: $19-$23/hour

Schedule: 36-hour workweek with early Friday close at 1:00 PM (Mon-Thu, 9AM-5PM, Fri, 9AM-1PM)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support to retain and grow client relationships
  • Handle policy changes, billing inquiries, and claims support with accuracy and professionalism
  • Conduct renewal reviews, coverage checkups, and proactive outreach using agency playbooks
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and refer life/umbrella/other product appointments
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and customer experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred (frontline sales and service roles are a plus - fun servers, bartenders, cosmetologists, who enjoy helping others and collaborative problem-solving)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working toward goals and learning sales skills
  • Must obtain MN Property & Casualty insurance producer license within 45 days (agency-paid support provided); Life insurance license within 90 days

Career Path

  • CSR (0–6 months): Service excellence + compliance foundations
  • CSR–Sales Hybrid (6–18 months): Grow into cross-selling, renewal reviews, bundled-line goals
  • Associate Producer (18+ months): Sales-focused role with higher variable pay and community involvement
  • Sales/Service Manager (36+ months): Department-lead role with commission over-ride &/or agency bonus opportunities
