MN Senior Games: Volunteers Needed!
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is coordinating volunteer support for the Minnesota Senior Games, which will be in greater St Cloud area August 15-18, 2024. Volunteer roles include everything from checking in attendees to retrieving balls to ensuring runner safety (and more in between).
Events include:
- Basketball
- Cycling Road Race (5K, 20K & 40K)
- Cycling Time Trial (10K)
- Pickleball
- Running (5K & 10K)
- Swimming
- Table Tennis
- Tennis
- Track & Field/Race Walk & Power Walk
- Volleyball

Because 2024 is a qualifying year for the 2025 National Competition in Iowa, planners are expecting hundreds of athletes aged 50+ and spectators that accompany them. Track & Field / Race Walk & Power Walk | Aug 17, 2024 | Volunteers will be needed to assist with Track & Field events and the Race Walk & Power Walk events at Sauk Rapids Middle School. The Hammer throw event will be held at St. John's University.
Swimming | Aug 18, 2024 | Volunteers will be needed at the Swimming event at Apollo High School.

Fees/Admission
Volunteers who sign up and complete a shift will be put in a drawing for 1 of three $50 Visa Gift Cards.
