Lunchtime Learning: Motivating and Engaging the Next Generations
Class Description:
In the St. Cloud area, 37% of our population is between the ages of 18 – 34, which falls into the two most recent “Next Generation” groups. As business leaders and team members, we may be working with up to five generations at once. This means we can encounter individuals in our workplace that span ages 14 – 90+ years old! However, our Next Generations (Gen Y and Gen Z) make up nearly half of the U.S. labor workforce. Jenny will dive into what attracts the Next Generation of candidates and how to work with, and integrate, these employees to help with overall employee retention. Anyone who employs, leads or works alongside individuals born after 1981 will especially benefit from this presentation.
Your Speaker:
Jenny Musech is a human resource professional with 12+ years of progressive experience. She loves what she does and is passionate about people. Jenny has worked for multiple employers in the St. Cloud market, and has been with Preferred Credit, Inc. for the past year as their Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development. Jenny continues to drive new strategies and engagement tactics for all employees including their Next Generation population. As a Next Generation leader herself, she is ready to tell her story, PCI’s story, and share some best practices and geographic data along the way.
