Government Affairs Meeting 10/15/25
The Government Affairs Division of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business people and volunteers who have a passion for issues and activities at all levels of government. Locally, statewide, and nationally, they serve as advocates for all Chamber members. Join us at our regular meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Topics are different each month. Any Chamber member with interest in government is welcome to attend.

Join us for an important Government Affairs meeting featuring Micah Olson, Manager for the Midwest Region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Micah will provide an update from Washington, D.C., including insight on national policy priorities, advocacy efforts, taxes, tariffs, and the status of the government shutdown. This is a timely opportunity to hear how federal policy developments are shaping the business environment and to engage in thoughtful discussion about what it means for our region.
About the Speaker:
Micah Olson has made a career around building relationships in the advocacy space across the Midwest region. Micah currently serves as the Manager in the Midwest Region for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining the Chamber, he ran an outreach program for a public policy organization in Minnesota. He has also worked at the Minnesota House of Representatives and advised political campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. Micah holds an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from the University of Northwestern—St. Paul and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Hamline University.
