Give a Little

One of the best parts of being active in a community is seeing your dollars at work right where you live, work and play. It always feels good to support causes you believe in, whether through your time or treasure. August 17th is National Nonprofit Day, a day to recognize all of the organizations who support our community in many ways. Corporate giving - at all levels - has a major impact on our world.

  • $5 billion: Approximately how much money is raised through workplace giving annually
  • 71% of surveyed employees say it is imperative or very important to work where culture is supportive of giving and volunteering.
  • 84% of donors say they're more likely to give if a match is offered, and one in three say they would give a larger gift if matching is applied to their donation.
  • 75% of U.S. adults feel physically healthier by volunteering, 93% report an improved mood, 79% reporting lower stress levels, and 88% reporting increased self-esteem by giving back.

Giving back is important. So, how can you celebrate? Check out all of our nonprofit members for more information on local and regional organizations that are working to make a difference. There is a cause for everybody to get behind, and we are happy to help connect you!
