Lunchtime Learning: Staying Safe - Situational Awareness for Businesses

Class Description:
Safety is a top priority for our businesses, employees and customers. Developing a perception of situational awareness can help us notice, predict and avoid dangerous elements in our environments. Join St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson as he updates attendees on the latest news and trends of staying safe in day-to-day activities around our community. Participants will learn local crime statistics, details about community partnerships, and gain an understanding of perception versus reality. All company employees will benefit from this class.
 
Register by Thursday, October 1 to be included in the lunch count.

This class will be held in person at the Chamber office. Because of space limitations, class attendance will be limited to 20 attendees. A wait list is established, please feel free to register and we will move you in to the class should an opening become available.

Your Speakers:
Blair Anderson became St. Cloud’s police chief in August 2012. With 24 years of experience, he works to provide a safe community for our current and future generations to enjoy, learn and grow in.

Joining him as our guest speaker is Tad Hoeschen, police sergeant at the St. Cloud Police Department.

COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS:
The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce will follow guidelines recommended by the state of Minnesota and the CDC when presenting events. Please be aware event locations may change suddenly. At all in-person events, the following rules must be followed by attendees:

1. Face-coverings must be worn at all times (except when seated)
2. Social distancing of 6 feet or more must be maintained at all times
3. Stay home if you are feeling any sickness symptoms
4. At events, wash your hands and areas you touch frequently (sanitizer will always be provided)
