St. Cloud's Midtown Square Mall, located at 3333 W. Division St., is poised for a transformative revival. This 225,000-square-foot mall is set to undergo significant improvements, with at least $3 million of upgrades. The strategic vision aims to breathe new life into the mall, fostering a dynamic space that serves both the community and innovative business ventures.

Built in the mid-1980s, Midtown Square Mall was once a bustling hub featuring popular destinations like Old Country Buffet and a busy driver's license office. However, like many malls nationwide, it has experienced a decline in foot traffic due to the rise of online shopping. Despite these challenges, the mall still houses several retail stores, a sports bar, and essential services such as state offices and health services.

The revitalization plan leverages the mall's prime location with over 33,000 cars passing daily on Division Street. Currently, the mall management is working to accommodate various needs, from medical facilities and indoor sports complexes to storage and other business uses. This flexibility allows for the creation of tenant spaces ranging from 500 to over 30,000 square feet.
