Ranadene Kay Tapio of St. Cloud, MN has requested and obtained an official proclamation from Minnesota's Gov. Tim Pawlenty that officially recognizes the effort and professionalism of Medical Billers,proclaiming March 27, 2008 to be Minnesota's first Medical Biller's Day. Tapio, owner of MedicalBilling Professionals in St. Cloud, MN believes that Medical Billers deserve recognition for all their efforts. She requested Gov. Tim Pawlenty officially designate March 27, 2008 as Medical Biller'sDay in Minnesota. This will be the first Medical Biller's Day of recognition for Minnesota. Tapio has her CMRS certification though AMBA and is a Bachelor’s of Science graduate in Health Care Management / Geriatrics from North Dakota State University. She is also a local member of AAHAM,AHIMA, MMGMA and MCA, and is actively involved with the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce. Her education and experience tailors to her hands-on knowledge and in-depth understanding of the medical billing and financial solution industry. Tapio wants others to know that Medical Billers work hard to comply with state and Federal regulations and that it takes a significant amount of education and experience to provide professional medical billing services. She feels Medical Billers should be recognized for their efforts and dedication to the Medical Billing profession.
