Lunchtime Learning: New Overtime and Wage Laws Affecting Your Business
On May 18, 2016, the U.S. Department of Labor announced changes to the salary level requirements for employees who are compensated on a salary compared to an hourly basis. In this session, you will learn about the new regulations and options for your organization to ensure compliance, effective Dec. 1, 2016.
Betsey Lund Ross, Attorney with Lund Sauter, P.A. Attorneys at Law, practices in the areas of business law, employment law and estate planning. As a small business owner, Betsey enjoys assisting her business clients with human resource issues and legal compliance.
Lunchtime Learning is brought to you by the Business Development Council of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce. We ask that if you register for this program and are unable to attend, that you give us a 48-hour notice. Due to the cost of the program and the cost of ordering lunches, we must bill our members who cancel after the 48-our deadline, or who don't show up. Please be assured that you may send another person from your organization in your place if you are unable to attend. If you have questions on this policy, please call us at 251-2940.
