Lunchtime Learning: Facebook is My Frenemy
Social media can lift a small business up, up, up…or drag it down, down, down. Donella Westphal, owner of Jules’ Bistro, will share some strategies for engaging people authentically; identifying team members who can cultivate character in your online identity; cleverly and naturally commingling personal and professional posts for the most impact; creating online community and mutual success among business partners; and artfully and strategically responding to reviews. Small business owners and their staff will benefit from this discussion.
Why be ordinary when you can be original? That’s been Donella Westphal’s mantra for most of her life. It has guided her work with clients as a creative strategist for the past 12 years and informs here daily decision-making as owner of Jules’ Bistro, which she purchased in April 2017. She possesses an MA in English from St. Cloud State University and over 25 years of experience as a writer, communicator and teacher.
