Lunchtime Learning: Develop a Cyber Security Mindset

Cyber security is critical to all businesses.  Gone are the days of if it happens, it is now when it happens.  Security concerns are real and they disrupt business.  Threats have evolved significantly in the last 20 years and even in the last 1-2 years.  Attendees will learn how ransomware has evolved in the last 12 months, uncover the false sense of security firewalls and passwords give us, discover the reality of insider threats, and more! Mike Burgard will discuss the latest threats, and share his insights on how to stay vigilant and develop a “security mindset”. This Q & A style class will teach attendees how to better protect themselves in their daily lives, and address key points that businesses should consider in their daily practice. Anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding, both personally and professionally, of the current cyber security threats and how to handle them will find this program especially useful.
