Lunchtime Learning: Building Better Business Through Belonging - 10/1/25
Class Description:
Why has energy around DEI waned—and what can we learn?
This interactive workshop invites local business leaders to explore the deeper values underlying diversity, equity, and inclusion—values such as fairness, opportunity, and community well-being. Rather than focusing on jargon or checklists, we’ll look at how exclusion (intentional or not) affects growth, innovation, and trust in our workplaces and communities.
Your Speaker: Led by Professor Ruthanne Kim, Ph.D., faculty lead for Community-Anti-Racism Education (CARE) at St. Cloud State University, this session draws on research and real-world examples to help participants reconnect with the purpose behind DEI. You’ll leave with fresh perspectives and practical ideas for fostering environments where everyone can thrive—without advancing your business goals.
Register by Monday, September 28, 2025 to be included in the lunch count.
