ABOUT THE EVENT

This breakfast is one of the most important moments of the year for St. Cloud Youth Shelter. It is our largest annual gathering of supporters, friends, and community champions who make the work possible. Whether you have been connected to SCYS for years or you’re attending for the first time, this morning is a chance to come together, celebrate impact, and help ensure youth continue to have a safe, stable place to land.

It is short, meaningful, and intentionally welcoming. Guests will enjoy coffee and a light breakfast, hear a brief program with a mission moment, and have an opportunity to give during the program (for those who feel led).

ABOUT 180 DEGREES ST. CLOUD YOUTH SHELTER

As Central Minnesota’s only 24/7 emergency shelter for youth, 180 Degrees St Cloud Youth Shelter (SCYS) operates 365 days a year. We provide immediate safety and stabilization for youth ages 12-19. Safe shelter, meals, clothing, hygiene items, and round-the-clock supervision are all offered to these young people. Additionally, SCYS offers a youth-centered environment that reduces crisis risk and keeps young people connected to school, caring adults, and coordinated mental health services. Many young people arrive with significant anxiety, depression, and trauma responses, and these needs are often compounded by broader community stress. Our goal is to mitigate immediate crises while building a plan for long-term stability and safety.
