2013 Innovation Summit
Dr. Bernard Franklin helps communities consider how they can change and adapt to the global culture&context with his approach as innovator and “imagineer”. He will challenge us to consider how we want to live and embrace our communities’ future, by sharing his definitions of the four elements of Imagineering leadership: critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration. He offers these concepts and integrates them into leader functioning. Participants will leave with possible action plans and some new thinking about how they think, work and collaborate in new fresh ways. Dr. Franklin is the president of Junior Achievement of Middle America. His recent work includes special assistant to Kansas State University’s Vice-President. He is president of his consulting company, the Center for Imagineering Leadership. He served as the president of Metropolitan CommunityCollege-Penn Valley in Kansas City.
