The Sales Coordinator (SC) will be responsible for supporting the broader sales organization as part of the sales team. The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team with cross-functional business needs in sales and proposal support, reporting, analytics, marketing coordination and trade show logistics. The Sales Coordinator will be working across several GeoComm teams in a collaborative approach that will require creativity, strong organizational and analytical skills in support of the sales team to grow business from existing or new accounts.
The role requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills since responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of sales operations functions including sales process and sales workflow support, quota measurement and reporting, forecasting, pipeline management, campaign management, and sales systems administration.
Essential Specific Job Duties

  1. Coordinate with Sales, Proposals, Marketing, Operations and Client Services to improve sales end-to-end workflow
  2. Assists with general administrative tasks in support of the sales team
  3. Develop and monitor performance indicators for sales and staff members, managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports
  4. Assist VP in driving accountability through reporting, analytics and data management by creating and updating various monthly reports to include:
    • sales pipelines
    • sales activity
    • sales projections
    • closed sales orders
  5. Generates, maintains, and updates information related to performance against sales objectives to be reviewed by sales management and senior leadership
  6. Maintains and updates customer management software and databases and works with the Sales Team the become the NetSuite expert
  7. Assist with annual budgeting and monthly expense monitoring
  8. Assists with the drafting of sales presentations and proposals for prospective customers
  9. May qualify some sales leads from specific sales campaigns and add them to the customer management software (NetSuite)
  10. Analyze existing customer and prospect data and gaps, and effectively communicate problems and solutions to sales lead
  11. Organizes, develops, and maintains sales promotional materials for the sales staff
Essential Duties
  1. Participates in regular one-on-one discussions with manager, and in team and department meetings, as required

Minimum Requirements:
Education:                               Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
Related Experience:               2+ years         
Travel:                                     Minimal travel required
Physical Demands:                 Ability to lift 30 pounds (sales related equipment and materials)
Desirable Training and Experience:
  1. Understanding of the technical and operational aspects of a software and service company
  2. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  3. Ability to articulate and convey concise messaging internally and externally
  4. Above average proficiency with computer use including Microsoft Office Suite of products  
  5. Ability to learn and proficiently use CRM and accounting software (NetSuite)
  6. Ability to work effectively independently and in team environments
