WORK HOURS:
3.0 hours per day (11:35 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.), Monday through Thursday, based on the 2022-2023 Early Childhood Program Calendar.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide assistance for deaf/hard of hearing students within the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District
- Interpret, translate and voice interpret all spoken and written communication using the student's mode of communication
- Provide one-to-one direct support to students by assisting with academic and other needs throughout the school day.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Licensed Minnesota ASL Interpreter or completion of a two year program in certified interpreter training
2. Ability to communicate with staff, students and parents
3. Caring attitude
SALARY:
Salary is based on licensure:
- Non-licensed, two-year certificate-$26.00 per hour
