Warranty Administrator

Job Description

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for entering, preparing and reconciling warranty claims and submitting them to the distributor and/or manufacturer.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Responsible for entering, preparing and reconciling warranty claims.
  •  Submit claims to parts distributors and manufacturers.
  •  Process claims in a timely manner, meeting given deadlines.
  •  Work closely with service and parts personnel at all branch locations to ensure all the correct warranty information is included and is accurate.
  •  Handle all warranty issues, credits and payments.   
  •  Submit warranty claims to distributors and manufacturers on any defective parts.
  •  Help administer the tracking and returning of warranty parts.
Minimum Qualifications: 
Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Two years of experience in a related office position or a 2-year degree is preferred.  Previous bookkeeping background is a plus.  Background in Warranty or Service Operations in a commercial truck/auto industry is helpful.  Must be willing to work as a team player while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment; ability and willingness to learn and be able to take work direction.
