DESCRIPTION:Ellison Center's next Lunch and Learn webinar is a topic that has been requested by past participants! We are also bringing back a trainer that many people found extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Please see the details below. We appreciate you sharing this with others - we hope for this low cost training opportunity can reach many in our field! \n\n \n\nLunch and Learn Virtual Training: Friday\, October 25\, 2024 from 12-2pm (will be recorded)\n\n \n\nFood Behavior\, Picky Eating\, and More! \n\nFor most of us food is a source of energy and comfort\, and we enjoy the social experience of it. For many children in our care\, however\, this could become a daunting task\, robbing them of the joy that could be possible. This workshop will consider the differences between problem feeders  and picky eaters\, food insecurities\, such as hoarding and the nurturing aspect of food (when food becomes your mother). Eating is a physical act\, but it is also an emotional sensational activity of daily living. We will also consider intervention principles with ideas of what to do and what not to do as well.
