Attend this event to learn about the careers\, industries and jobs your student could pursue! Youth are encouraged to attend with their adult "influencer."\n\n\n\nThis is an extension of the EPIC Student Day event\, that is held 10/28/2022 at SCTCC. The intention is for students to attend and discover career options\, then bring their adults to the Influencer event to ask more detailed questions to help students continue exploring and achieving future goals.\n\n\n\nWhile there is no cost to attend and you're welcome to arrive at any time between 4-7 PM\, we encourage you to register on Eventbrite and select a time slot. Thank you!\n\n \n\nWHAT TO EXPECT:\n\nEPIC For Influencers will bring youth "Influencers" together with business leaders from all work clusters to engage in educational conversations to learn about different career opportunities.\n\n \n\nWho is an "Influencer"?\n\nAnyone who helps local youth or those looking to change career paths determine their steps during and after high school or while preparing to change careers. This includes\, but is not limited to:\n\n\n \n Family & Guardians (parents\, grandparents\, caretakers\, neighbors\, etc.)\n \n \n Community members (youth organization staff\, career advisors\, etc.)\n \n \n School staff (counselors\, teachers\, support staff\, bus drivers... anyone who interacts with youth!)\n \n\n\nLearn more about EPIC and the MDE career wheel on our website.
