SUMMARY:Community Pride & Peace Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Community Pride and Peace Walk is a collaboration between local faith groups and St. Cloud Pride during Pride Week in September to show unity and support for the LGBTQ+ community. We will gather at the St. Cloud Great River Regional Library in the Bremer Room from 4:30-5:00 to prepare for the walk and write messages/intentions/promises on ribbons to be hung on the Community Pride and Peace Tree during the walk\, which will be approximately 5:00 to 5:45 around Lake George. During the walk\, there will be uplifting songs led by a local choir\, Mettekor. This event is open to all community members and welcomes people of any faith as well as those who are not religious. Remember to wear rainbow colors and/or shirts representing your faith community\, and bring signs if you would like!
